R.B. Berry (Coach Berry) is a certified personal trainer
with 25 years of experience in the area of weight lifting,
exercise, and nutrition. He has a certification in CPR. I
specialize in fitness and nutritional counseling, personal
instruction and supervision for people of all ages. He loves
helping people get fit and stay fit.
Coach designs each program to fit the needs of the
individual and help each one reach their personal physical
goal. He trains family members, friends, active duty
marines, housewives, youth, athletes and many others.
Coach Berry's clients are properly trained to use each
individual exercise equipment to help achieve the best
results, always keeping safety a priority. He keeps a

My name is Tamara Smith and I would like to tell you about the
greatest personal trainer in the world. I met Coach Berry in 1998
when I moved aboard Camp Pendleton from the Persian Gulf, I didn't
know anyone and I did not have a drivers license, I needed to loose
about 50lbs and I didn't know how to exercise properly and I notice
Coach Berry's gym in his home, so I went to talk to him about an
exercise program. He designed, implemented and supervised my
exercise program and provided guidance on nutrition. He led by
example and taught me to be self-sufficient.
I was able to achieve my goal. My weight dropped from 170lbs to
120lbs and I am in the best shape of my life. When my husband
returned from his 7-month deployment, he was very happy and proud of

My name is Karen Peterson and I would like to thank Coach Berry
for his support and enthusiasm, I can't believe the changes I have
gone through. I was a size 14 when I started with Coach Berry and
now I am down to an 8!! That's where I see the biggest difference.
Sometimes I don't feel I've made huge strides in my weight loss, but
then I just have to try clothes on and it defiantly hits home! The
combination of cardiovascular and weight training Coach Berry
subscribes to is the key factor in my weight loss.
You have taught me that exercise needs to be part of my daily life
to be effective. It was defiantly hard at the beginning, getting up
at 4:30 am to be at the gym at 5:00 am every weekday. However, once
the routine was set it was really not that difficult. If I can
become a morning exercise person anyone can!!! I still am not fond
of getting up that early, but when I'm done working out I am so glad
I did it!!!
At the beginning my motivation for getting up and working out was
knowing that Coach Berry was there waiting for me. I needed that
incentive to get out of bed! But as time went by my motivation way
myself, and my desire to lose weight and feel healthier.

My name is Pat Novak; I have always been an active individual in
fairly decent shape. I play and referee soccer. This sport requires
me to keep myself physically fit. 1994 was a bad year for me
because; I found out that I had cancer. I had to go through surgery,
chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. Just as I was getting over
all of this, I got a blood clot in my lung in 1995. This set me back
again.
1996 brought in good healthy times but I just could not get myself
back in top physical condition. I started training with Coach Berry
R. B. (A certified Personal Trainer). As my trainer he has helped me
get back in superb condition. Actually, with his help my speed and
endurance in soccer has increased beyond earlier years! Coach
Berry's individualized attention helped me to stay motivated, focus
and not give up. He constructed a basic routine for me to follow. As
soon as I was familiar with the routine and R. B. knew I was doing
everything properly, he started expanding my horizons. Examples are
bicycle rides in the area and some times longer rides out of the
area like down to the beach. We also jog in the area with some wind
sprints thrown in. A side benefit is terrific muscle tone and some
weight loss.
The key to all this is that Coach Berry will help you attain you
Fitness and Nutritional goals. He closely monitor's your progress
and seems to know when you need a little push or if it's a day to
back off just a bit. As long as you are willing he has the time,
expertise and experience to get you in top physical condition…if you
are ready for a change in life Coach Berry is at the top of my
recommendation.

My name is Miriam Wright, I met Coach Berry when I was carrying
approx. 290lbs, he was my next-door neighbor who had extended an
invitation to help me with my weight and health related goals.
Needless to say I turned down his invitation even thought I had seen
tremendous results from all the other ladies he was training. I
developed server stomach problems and chose to ignore the obvious of
my problem and (over indulgence in food) and blame it on
"high-stress" life style. In 1996 over indulgence and lack of
exercise took its toll. The stomach pains were extremely server and
I had to call the paramedics and ended up in hospital.
As I lay in the hospital, I thought about how much I would give to
be able to take part in some of the activities of "Berry's Ladies"
and not be lying in the hospital. Within a day or two of being
released from the hospital, I marched over to Coach Berry and told
him that I wanted to join his class! I was afraid at first, because
I didn't think that I could keep up with everyone else. I was afraid
that others would make fun of me because I was so much heavier than
they were. Boy! Was I wrong! From the first minute I began to work
out, all of the ladies were kind and complimentary toward me. When
the workout was hard, they told me "you can do it"… "Hey, you are
doing better that you did yesterday". I tell you, that made all of
the difference. Coach Berry taught me that not eating is not the way
to loose weight. He has taught me that I can do anything I put my
mind to. Coach Berry has a saying - "Work over time equals power".
Coach Berry ladder of achievement "I can, I will, I did". My son,
Christopher, was 245lbs by the age of 13 years; he spent most of the
time in the house when not at school. When I was training with Coach
Berry he said "bring your son over I can help him" and boy was he
right. My son trained with Coach Berry for 3 years until he
graduated from High School, he is in excellent condition,
self-motivated and knows how to keep himself physically fit for
life.
